The old villa of Mafia boss in Florida has been put up for sale for a mega amount of $13.9 million. This house is located on the Atlantic Avanue in North Miami beach and has 7 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and a private island. Rumor has it that in the villa a casino it was established during the droughts in the 20s of the last century.
According to the auction house of ONE Sotheby's International Realty, the villa was once used as an underground casino and illegal trade during Prohibition in the 1920s. The story goes that the house was run by employees of the notorious gangster Al Capone from Chicago.
In addition to being a casino, the villa was also used for the trade in illegal liquor. Al Capone was not exactly received with open arms when he arrived in Miami Beach in 1928. Capone had long been notorious by the time he chose to move to Miami. And as expected, he brought with him a whole range of illegal and underground activities , including gambling. Capone eventually made Clarence Busch's Palm Island estate his permanent residence. The current owners know how to make a nice deal if they manage to sell the house for the aforementioned $13.9 million. The couple bought the villa almost 30 years ago for $500,000.
