The Poker Hall of Fame is a very honorable mention in the poker world where only 1 poker player is added annually. The poker Hall of Fame was established in 1979 when the first WSOP events were held. Benny Binion the horseshoe casino in Las Vegas.
In 1979, Johnny Moss was the first poker player to be inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame. Moss was the first player to win the WSOP in 1970. Today they have limited this to 1 player.
