The Nevada Gaming Authority has announced that, after weeks of investigation, it has tracked down a man from Arizona who died after a visit to a Las Vegas casino a Jackpot of $229,368 won without the man himself knowing.
Robert Taylor, as the lucky winner is called, was playing on a casino slot when the game's computer then received a deposit. Neither he nor the casino staff realized or could know that the man had actually won a jackpot worth $229,368. However, after the malfunction, the slot machine was thoroughly searched by experts who then found out that the deposit was caused because the player managed to win a mega jackpot.
After the experts completely turned the device inside out and were sure that the jackpot was actually won by the player, the search work began. Robert Taylor had already left Las Vegas. The administration of the casino, after two weeks of checking surveillance videos, conducting witness interrogations, studying electronic purchase data, identified the man. This allowed the casino to contact the player, who, of course, was overjoyed. It is expected that the player will collect his jackpot as soon as possible.
