Online casinos adhere to ban BN'ers in advertising

Despite the fact that all parties have stopped at this time, the Gambling Authority will continue to carry out checks.

However, the Gambling Authority and The New Zealand government seem to measure with two measures. Namely, not in all forms of gambling a ban is imposed on famous people. Lotteries such as the State Lottery, Lotto and charity lotteries are excluded from this ban. They can simply continue to use celebrities, athletes or influencers to promote their form of gambling.

The future is going to be even tougher for online gambling websites when it comes to promoting and advertising. Now that the well-known New Zealanders have been excluded, the measures will be tightened even more severely over the next 3 years. For example, these advertisements will soon no longer be allowed on tv and sports clubs will eventually also be excluded from advertisements.
