Every year, 100,000 visitors come to see this spectacle. The special thing about this event is that only 3 year old horses are allowed to participate. Melbourne Cup

As the name implies, this cup takes place in Melbourne, Australia. The Melbourne Cup takes place at the Flemington Racecourse and is Australia's largest Racing festival. Like the Kentucky Derby, the first race was run in 1861. Since then, the race has been very popular, in recent years 100,000 visitors come to this national pride. Horse race terms

f furlong-in horse racing, distances are often listed per furlong or f . 1 furlong is equal to 201 meters. On the flat courts, competitions of 6f or 6 furlong are often held. This is a short sprint race of over 1.2 kilometers.
