The poker event of the year is finally back for the dNZD. On Tuesday, May 31, the 53 e edition of the World Series Of Poker starting at the BALLYS casino in Las Vegas. On the opening day, the WSOP traditionally starts with a tournament especially for the casino employees. Yesterday, more was announced at the press conference about WSOP 2023.
At the press conference on May 26, among other things, this year's gold bracelets were presented. For the bracelets that will be given away to the winner of the Main Event we have to wait a bit. At the press conference, it became clear that expectations are high for the WSOP 2023. This is expected to be the largest WSOP ever, partly because the corona measures are almost over. The WSOP has 582 poker tables and more than 1000 dealers are ready to deal poker cards.
Of the entire WSOP, of course, the most anticipated is the $10,000 main event. It is expected that this year more than 9000 players will participate in the most prestigious poker tournament on the planet. On July 18, the final tournament of the WSOP 2023 will take place. This is the tournament of champions that all bracelet winners can participate in. This tournament has a prize pool of $ 1 million. Winners of the WSOP Circuit can also participate for free. Last week the WSOP circuit took place in the Royal Vegas Casino in Venlo. The winners of these tournaments can thus participate in the Tournament of champions in Las Vegas for free.
Practical information
- Bracelet ceremonies will be held in the Paris Ballroom and will be organized as we are used to from the WSOP.
- Some tournaments, due to high attendance, may require ten players to play at 1 table. However, everything will be done to prevent this.
- You can park your car at Paris Las Vegas parking garage from $18 per day. It is also possible to purchase a weekly parking card for $100.
