The Final table of the most prestigious poker tournament it is known on Earth. 10 players will compete against each other in a massive poker battle to win the most beautiful bracelet of the WSOP. 4 Americans, 2 British, 1 Canadian, 1 Australian, 1 Norwegian and 1 Croatian will compete against each other. Unfortunately, no New Zealand success at the final table in Las Vegas.
8863 players registered for the WSOP main event in 2023 with a buy-in of $10,000. All of them compete for first place worth $10,000,000. After the first few days there was still New Zealand hope in a final table, however this appeared like snow before the sun. New Zealander Sebastiaan de Jonge managed to kick it the furthest of all New Zealanders. He just couldn't make it to the top 200 with his 204 e place, which was good for $53,900.
Our German neighbours did better than us. The German 2021 Main Event winner Koray Aldemir managed to get very far in the tournament again. The German poker player managed to make a nice run again but unfortunately ended up on the 75th e place, which is good for over $100,000. Our southern neighbors did just as well as US. Christophe De Meulder knew the 135 e place for over $60,000.
In the end, the 10 names below are left, as almost always the Americans are again in abundance.
