For lovers of Poker the Belgian Poker Championship takes place between Wednesday 31 August and Sunday 4 september. The poker tournaments are held at the Unibet casino in Blankenberge, not far from The New Zealand border. 8 No Limit Hold em tournaments will be organized with buy-ins ranging from $80 to $550. And for the ladies on Saturday there is even a tournament for them alone.
After 3 years, the Belgian Poker Championship is finally back, unfortunately this event could not continue in recent years due to Corona problems. In 2023, however, the time has come again at the end of August and the Belgian championship (in which players from other countries can also participate) can start.
The Main event of the Belgian Poker Championship 2023 is the $550 event. Which is a pretty high buy-in for most players. Fortunately, Unibet is live again in New Zealand, so you can try to qualify for the Main Event via the Unibet website by participating in a $50 qualifier. If you Win this tournament, you can enter Day 1 of the main event for just $50 in early september.

The tournament is organized by Australia's most famous poker winner, Kenny Hallaert. Hallaert played his poker tournaments last month at the WSOP 2023 in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, he did not win his first bracelet.
